Upgrades to V8.0001.06, V8.0001.07 and the Basic Authentication solution update V8.0002.00 - are now available. We'll take you through the major enhancements which sit in the final of the three product patch updates mentioned.
V8.0002.00 - Highlights
Since the start of June, we have sent several communications asking you to confirm your preferred pathway for dealing with the upcoming Microsoft deprecation.
As the development and testing of the WinMan solution is almost complete, we wanted to update you on the status of each pathway option and advise of the next steps:
- Option 1 - the support team will begin making contact to arrange your patch update or upgrade from Friday 16th September 2022
- Option 2 - all users who requested a call to discuss their plans have now been contacted by Lyn Foster, your account manager
- Option 3 - remains applicable to anyone yet to respond, whom either do not email from WinMan or already have a solution for sending emails in place
Lyn is now focused on speaking with all users who have not yet responded. It's very likely that if you have not replied and use email functionality from WinMan in any capacity, that this functionality will stop working from the 1st October 2022 when the Microsoft changes will take effect.
September Focus
During this month your support team will be prioritising the deployment of the V8.0002.00 patch mentioned above, or upgrading your system depending on which version of WinMan you are currently using.
Please be mindful of this when submitting cases and support requests - as the team will be very busy. You may wish to hold any non-critical support needs until October to ensure the team is available to support you.
