Job Summary

As an Implementation Manager your primary role is to effectively implement the WinMan ERP system in accordance with the requirements of the contract, the customer and the organisation. This involves a full life-cycle business focused implementation achieved by effective communications with customer project teams and stakeholders.

The role requires a good understanding of business consultancy, business analysis and project planning. There will be extensive travel throughout the UK to customer sites, usually around 3-4 days per week, sometimes with overnight stays. Occasionally the role will involve overseas travel.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers are kept informed of key project milestones as well as managing project risks and issues.

Implementation managers typically manage around 3 projects at any one time depending upon size and complexity and some out of hours work will be required. Occasionally some involvement in the sales / pre-sales process may be required.

Main Tasks

  • Business process and gap analysis
  • Identification of business issues and assistance with resolution
  • Managing projects and project documentation in line with the requirements of the Quality System
  • Managing project time and cost against budget
  • Ensuring that all contractual obligations are met
  • Specification of bespoke work and customisations
  • Liaison with other WinMan departments for the timely delivery of required bespoke work and customisations
  • Software testing of bespoke work and customisations
  • Assist the customer with business change management issues

Required 

  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • Strong business analysis skills 
  • Confident in consulting and advising on business issues at board level
  • Ability to identify and mitigate project risks
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Professional approach to work
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and overseas

Desirable

  • Degree or equivalent
  • Experience of ERP system implementation and/or manufacturing and supply chain environments
  • Working knowledge of T-SQL
  • Proven project management skills
